The c7200-mboot-mz image was released in April, 2006 on Cisco IOS Release 12.0(32)S2 and contains support for a small, specific set of port adapters and older I/O controllers. Using newer port adapters-that require the c7200-kboot-mz image-with older I/O controllers that use the standard boot image, can result in a system that is unable to boot from a network (TFTP) server.
